9 October, 19.00-20.00 (with drinks and mingling to follow)

Irish literature has a long and illustrious tradition, and the recent wave of contemporary writers making their mark internationally has only strengthened that tradition. In 2025 though, when Irish culture is also vividly marked by diaspora and the country itself is in flux politically and culturally, what defines Irish writing?

This event is free, but please register to reserve your spot as space is limited.

This event was made possible through the generous support of Culture Ireland and the Embassy Of Ireland in Oslo.

Indigo Trigg-Hauger, owner and founder of Prismatic Pages, will lead a conversation with four visiting authors from Ireland:

Oein DeBhairduin

John Patrick McHugh

Shane Tivenan

Sophie White

Books by all the authors and panelists will be for sale throughout the festival.
