Texture Collaging

Collaging is the art of mixing various media to form new works. That can include cut outs from magazines, old books, scraps of paper found, but also larger objects or knick knacks.

For this workshop, we'll focus on collaging not only in 2-D, but adding in 3-D textures and elements -- even pop-ups, windows, and off-the-page embellishments!

Artist and educator Marta will guide you through collage techniques before we have time for collaging together. No previous experience necessary!

All materials necessary are included in the ticket price of 275 NOK. All you bring is an interest in being creative.

I'm an artist and art therapist, I completed my education in Italy and brought my creativity to Norway in the middle of the pandemic. I write poetry and produce mostly collage and mixed media art. I work at Barnekunstmuseet here in Oslo, where I organise workshops and courses. I spend most of my free time reading, that's why Prismatic Pages is the perfect place for this course!
